My name is Sarah Emmerling. I am a trained stage and film actor based in Buffalo, New York, where I have had the honor of collaborating with numerous local theatre companies, filmmakers, playwrights, poets, and improvisational comedians. In addition to acting, I am a fine arts model, vocalist, writer, and aerialist.

I approach my work with an unwavering passion for creating and sharing stories, combining child-like imagination with the steady conviction required to pose questions, reshape perspectives, and provoke conversation. I aim to inspire, learn and evolve alongside my fellow creators, and produce meaningful, lasting work that both examines and challenges expectations, transforms hearts and minds, and fearlessly dives deep beneath the surface.
As an artist, I recognize the great privilege and responsibility I have to communicate with others in a way that is unique, vulnerable, and compelling. While I recognize the grand, awe-inspiring nature of this field, I truly believe that at its root it is about compassion and connecting with other human beings. I aim in all my work to consistently highlight the humanity that binds us all, along with our shared desires for hope, direction, acceptance, and belonging.
